For operated bookings, I set up, soundcheck, and stay onsite for the agreed coverage to run sound and respond to changes. Pack-down is handled too.
Frequently asked questions
What does having an onsite technician add?
You have someone focused on the sound while you focus on the event. I handle setup and soundcheck, adjust levels, support transitions between speeches and music, and respond to sound issues as they arise. With sound + lighting, I also operate the agreed lighting setup. Onsite coverage and any extra time are confirmed in your quote; dry rentals do not include this support.
Is my booking confirmed when I inquire?
No. We confirm availability, travel, access, and production details with you before the booking is final.
Can lighting be added?
Yes. LED wash lighting, battery-powered PAR cans, and RGB spotlights can be used for atmosphere, dance floors, small stages, and evening events. We recommend a setup around your space.
Can I rent without an operator?
Dry rentals without an operator are available by approval. A refundable deposit or credit card authorization may be required before pickup or delivery.
What if the calendar shows a conflict?
You can still inquire. A hold or event may overlap, so we will check the date with you. An empty calendar is not a confirmed reservation.
How are travel and event duration priced?
Tell us your location and event times. We will confirm the duration covered, any travel charges, and extra time in your quote.
